How to Apply Online for MPTAAS Scholarship Scheme
- Go to the official website of Madhya Pradesh Tribal Welfare Department at https://www.tribal.mp.gov.in/CMS
- On reaching the homepage, click on "MPTAASC" tab present in the main menu to open MPTAAS Portal or directly click https://www.tribal.mp.gov.in/MPTAAS
- On the opened page, click at "नया हितग्राही प्रोफाइल पंजीकरण" link if you are a new user.
- Read the instructions, tick the declaration and hit "आगे बढ़ें (Proceed)" tab.
- Accordingly, the beneficiary profile registration page for MPTAAS scholarship will appear as shown below:-
- Register using your 10-digit Samagra ID and click "ओटीपी प्राप्त करें".
- Enter the OTP received on your Samagra-linked mobile number, then click "Fetch Details".
- Fill in educational details, bank account info for DBT, and upload scanned documents.
- Review all information and click Submit. You will receive a User ID and Password.
- Next make MPTAAS Portal login using your credentials generated during registration.
- Go to the PMS dropdown → Application Apply, select Fresh/Renewal, fill in details, upload documents, and submit.
- Note your application/reference number for tracking.

How Much Is MPTAAS Scholarship Amount?
MPTAAS Scholarship has been launched to support education for socially disadvantaged groups by reducing financial barriers. The scholarship covers tuition fees and provides a monthly allowance, which varies based on the course and whether the student is a hosteller or day scholar.
- Group 1: Approx. ₹550 - ₹1,500 per month for Medical, Engineering, Management, Ph.D. like professional courses
- Group 2: Approx. ₹530 - ₹820 per month for Pharmacy, Nursing, LLB etc courses
- Group 3: Approx. ₹300 - ₹570 per month for Undergraduate (UG) level courses
- Group 4: Approx. ₹230 - ₹380 per month for Class 11th and Class 12th
Students from SC, ST, and OBC category who are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh are its main beneficiaries.
Note: Tuition reimbursement/maintenance allowance varies by course level and residential status (hosteller/day scholar). Furthermore, the scholarship covers post-matric courses (Class 11 onwards). Pre-matric students (Class 9-10) are not included under this scheme.
MPTAAS Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
