- Funding is provided through nationalized banks, regional rural banks, state cooperative banks, and other scheduled banks.
- Margin money is provided as a grant by the Department of MSME after successful operation of the enterprise for 2 years.

Margin money shall be adjusted after the successful commencement of operations of business at least for 2 Years. Applicants/ beneficiaries shall have to deposit the margin money in bank as own contribution. For general category, 10% of project cost while for special category, 5% of project cost is to be submitted as own contribution.
