Objectives of LPY Scheme
The Lado Protsahan Scheme has been launched to:
- Promote the birth and overall development of girl children in Rajasthan.
- Prevent gender discrimination in upbringing, education, and health of girls.
- Reduce maternal and child mortality by promoting institutional deliveries and proper healthcare.
- Improve the declining child sex ratio in the state.
- Ensure enrollment, retention, and higher education of girls in schools and colleges.
- Discourage child marriage and empower girls through education and financial support.

Eligibility Criteria for Rajasthan LPY Scheme
To be eligible for the LPY Rajasthan, the following conditions apply:-- Girl child must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan
- Birth must take place in Rajasthan
- Birth should be reported from a government hospital or private hospital approved for Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY).
- Parents/guardians must have valid identity proof
- Child must be enrolled in a government or recognized private school (for installment linked to school admission)
- For higher education benefit, the girl must complete graduation from a recognized institution
- The beneficiary must satisfy all scheme conditions as per government guidelines on Lado Protsahan Yojana
Note: The final installment (₹1,00,000) is released only after the girl completes graduation and attains 21 years of age.
How to Check Lado Protsahan Yojana Payment Status
- First of all, go to the official website for social welfare and payment status services in Rajasthan at ojspm.rajasthan.gov.in
- At the homepage, log in using your username, password, and captcha code.
- Once logged in, select the name of scheme as "Lado Protsahan Yojana".
- You can track your LPY payment status using your PCTS ID, Aadhaar number, or Jan Aadhaar number.
Note - One can even track LPY status by making log in at Rajasthan SSO (Single Sign-On) ID portal.

- Contact the Women & Child Development Office in your district
- Check bank account statements (since payments are made via Direct Benefit Transfer – DBT)
How is the Payment Transferred?
- Payments are sent directly to the registered bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
- Initial six installments are credited to the parent/guardian's account.
- The final installment (Rs. 1,00,000) is credited to the girl's own bank account after fulfilling eligibility criteria.
Common Reasons for Payment Delay
If your payment status shows "Pending," possible reasons may include:- Incomplete documents
- Aadhaar not linked to bank account
- Bank account not seeded with DBT
- School verification pending
- Graduation certificate not uploaded
- Make sure all documents are updated in the portal.
