Telangana Cheyutha Pension Scheme 2026 is a social security pension programme to provide pension amount ranging from ₹4,000/month to ₹6,000/month. Cheyutha Pension Scheme is the first component of the umbrella Cheyutha Scheme announced in the election manifesto of the Congress Party prior to 2023 legislative assembly elections. The official Cheyutha portal provides facilities to access the Cheyutha Pension Application Form, search pensioner details and check pension information using a Pension ID or Aadhaar ID.

Telangana Cheyutha Pension Scheme Latest Update 

Applications under Telangana Cheyutha Pension Scheme for priority categories (on saturation basis) are invited at cheyutha.telangana.gov.in. Categories proposed for new pensions are widows, single women, persons with disabilities, toddy tappers, weavers, filaria patients, dialysis patients and persons with blood-disorder disabilities (thalassemia, sickle cell disease, haemophilia).
Last date to apply online for filling Cheyutha Pension Form is 31 August 2026.

The Cheyutha Pension Application Form PDF is available through the official Cheyutha Telangana portal. The portal provides application forms in English and Telugu formats. Here is the complete process to download Cheyutha Pension Application Form:
  • Hover over the "Cheyutha Application Forms" tab.
  • Select "Cheyutha Application Form - English format" for the English version.
  • Select "Cheyutha Application Form - Telugu Format" for the Telugu version.
  • The Telangana Cheyutha Pension Scheme application form will open which you can download in PDF format.
  • Save the PDF on your mobile, laptop or computer.
  • Print the form and fill it in manually.
  • Attach the required documents and submit the completed application to the concerned authorities.
  • The application and documents will be verified.
  • If the applicant meets the applicable conditions and the application is approved, the pension will be sanctioned according to the relevant category.

Telangana Cheyutha Pension Status Check by Aadhaar Card

Beneficiaries can use the official Cheyutha portal to check their pension information using a Pension ID or Aadhaar ID.
  • In the Social Security Pensions Digital Dialogue Search, you can enter either your Pension ID or Aadhaar ID. 
  • If you want to check your status by aadhaar card, then enter your Aadhaar ID.
  • Click on the "Search" tab.
  • Accordingly, Telangana Cheyutha Pension information would get displayed on the screen.
Note - You can also use your Pension ID where available.

How to Search Cheyutha Pensioner Details

The Cheyutha Pension Scheme Telangana official portal provides another facility called Search Pensioner Details. It allows users to search using a Pension ID, UID or SADAREM ID. Alternatively, the search page provides fields for District, Mandal, Panchayat, Pensioner Name and Head of the Family.
  • Enter the Pension ID, UID or SADAREM ID, if available.
  • Alternatively, select the District, Mandal and Panchayat. Enter the pensioner's name or head of the family's name, as applicable.
  • Submit the search.

Telangana Cheyutha Scheme - Background and ₹4,000 Pension Promise

The Cheyutha Scheme was also included in the Congress party's Abhaya Hastham election manifesto before the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections. The manifesto proposed 2 components under Cheyutha Scheme. First component (Cheyutha Pension Scheme) was for monthly pension of ₹4,000 for specified beneficiary groups while second component was about providing health insurance of up to ₹10 lakh to the beneficiaries under Rajiv Aarogyasri Scheme. The Telangana Budget 2024-25 also stated that the government was committed to implementing Cheyutha.
