Annapurna Bhandar Status Check 2026 & Family Level Data Collection Online

Annapurna Yojana status checking facility has been started by the West Bengal government at socialregistry.wb.gov.in (earlier socialsecurity.wb.gov.in). The status tracking facility would enable Annapurna Bhandar Scheme beneficiaries to check whether they received monthly payment of ₹3,000 in their bank accounts or not. The scheme is one of the key West Bengal government schemes focused on women welfare and financial assistance.

The new Annapurna Yojana Portal is launched after the release of the scheme's Notification No. 2411-WCD/O/AB-4/2026 dated 19 May 2026. The announcement regarding the scheme was made during the first cabinet meeting of the newly formed BJP government in West Bengal on 11 May 2026.

Under Annapurna Bhandar Scheme 2026, each eligible women is entitled to get ₹3,000 per month through direct benefit transfer (DBT). The state government has begun implementation of the scheme from 1 June 2026.

Applicants looking to enroll in the scheme or update beneficiary details may also need to update their family details online through the Family Level Data Collection Portal. The concerned authorities are doing this identification so that foreigners does not get benefit amount.

Note: Annapurna Bhandar Yojana has been introduced in place of the earlier Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme and eligible beneficiaries are being migrated after verification.

West Bengal Annapurna Yojana 1st Installment Transfer

Annapurna Yojana, which outsmarted former Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's patent Laxmir Bhandar, has reached 1.1 crore beneficiaries well within 60 days of the BJP coming to power. CM Adhikari announced this at a grand programme at Netaji Indoor Stadium.

The first tranche of Annapurna Yojana, which ensures a ₹3,000 monthly benefit to the deserving women, had been transferred on 3 June 2026. CM added that about 26 lakh applications had been turned down on account of suspect citizenship or domicile status. There had been 1.6 crore applications, the CM said, adding, "Twenty-six lakh of such applications under the Annapurna Yojna have been rejected because scrutiny is required."

The earlier TMC Government had implemented the Laxmir Bhandar scheme, initially transferring ₹1,000 to women and later increasing it to ₹1,500 before the April-May State elections. The scheme covered more than 2 crore beneficiaries, a large number of whom comprised either foreign nationals or male recipients. Only the eligible Indian citizens will receive the fund through the direct benefit transfer scheme (DBT), and no non-Indian will get it, the CM said, adding, "We cannot transfer taxpayers' money from the government coffers to non-Indians."

Already, hundreds of males, mostly close to the Trinamool Congress, who were receiving Laxmir Bhandar - a scheme targeting women only - have been identified and de-notified by the present Government. West Bengal government did a humongous job of identifying the ineligible people from the eligible ones.

Those who had still not received or applied for the scheme can check their eligibility and apply directly through the official myScheme Portal. Moreover those who were getting Laxmir Bhandar would automatically be included in the scheme, subject to verification. All the eligible beneficiaries under the Annapurna Yojana Bhandar scheme are being identified before transferring the amount to their bank accounts.
