Nethanna Sevalo Scheme Launched on National Handloom Day

The AP Nethanna Sevalo Scheme has been launched on 7 August 2026 during the National Handloom Day celebrations at Chirala in Bapatla district. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has launched the scheme at the state-level event.

A Day Prior to Launch - Cabinet Approval to Nethanna Sevalo Scheme

The State Cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat on 6th August 2026, cleared several proposals, including the sanction of ₹50 crore for security arrangements for Godavari Pushkarams-2027, launch of a new welfare scheme "Nethanna Sevalo" for handloom weavers, and establishment of two private universities.
